Clothing’s ability to stand on its own is at play in this installation. To give greater visual weight to the clothing I used recycled sheet-lead. I couldn’t help but think of how different x-ray and scanning devices can’t penetrate lead, a recycled medium with which I love to work. This is a quality clothing shares, insofar as it hides(to a certain degree) the body underneath.

Once you take away the body underneath, what does clothing, as it still hangs, say about the wearer?
